I have had a "bug" filed for a couple of years now to allow a FQDN to be entered as the Squeeze Server name and to have some real authentication for the players... maybe even a bit of encryption.. https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6879 I orginaly had a feature request in there in 2005.. but it got lost.. I have been remotley streaming to many devices for years.
