I don't own a radio, but I own a duet, boom, and SB3. I concur with the previous posts that the Boom would work well. I have them in my kids bedrooms and they enjoy being able to listen to music while playing in their room or while going to sleep sometimes.
The advantages of the boom and radio are that they are self contained. No wires to mess with. Usage of a remote is optional. They can also be relocated easily. Having access to the full music library is handy sometimes too. My daughter, who is 5, has a couple of age appropriate picture books about the lives of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. After reading them at bedtime, she likes to listen to their music. I'm waiting for the day when she can impress her music teacher by talking about Miles Davis and Charlie Parker and how they met :-). So the boom (and SBs in general) can be great tools in educating your kids about music. -- maggior Rich --------- Setup: 2 SB3s, 3 Booms, 1 duet, 1 receiver.
