Hi all, I am new to this forum so forgive me if this has already been discussed..
I have been using Hauppauge MediaMVP with the MVPMC hack. This allows me to stream squeezebox stuff to it. I use my Palm TX to control Squeezebox and its cool. Lately I was wondering how to get Sirius to Mediamvp/MVPMC, using the Squeezecenter interface versus introducing something new which my wife will hate. So, here's my configuration (which mainly works..) I enabled upnp client checkbox in the advanced-->network page. Next I installed uSirius and Orb. I configured Orb to link to uSirius. Now I can turn on my mediamvp/mvpmc, then go to the squeezebox webpage on my palm tx. Along with artist, genre, album, etc, I have the option to choose Orb (upnp). Then I navigate the menus to the Sirius station and waahoo I have sirius on my mediamvp. The only issue that I have is the Mediamvp reboots a couple of time when I first select a station and then it works... I think this has to do with memory issues. I am not technical enough to figure out how to recompile mvpmc to use less memory. Is there a better way to do this? One other option is to have Mediamvp directly connect to orb since it is a UPNP client. This works fine, but it means I have to teach my wife 2 different things.. if you want sirius you go here, if you want all the other stuff, you go there...Apparently that too complicated... Anyway, do I have any other options? Also, anyone have option for pandora on MediaMVP/MVPMC?
