For ripping and tagging on the Mac you might want to look at XLDhttp://tmkk.hp.infoseek.co.jp/xld/index_e.html. This usually does the trick for me in both flac and mp3 formats on the same ripping pass. Tags are pulled from CDDB and you get the chance to fix them before committing. If you subsequently find you need to redo any tags then "Tag" from the aforementioned Stephen Booth (http://sbooth.org/Tag/) works well.
As for playlists I have had some success using VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html) which allows you to drag and drop files from the Finder to form a playlist which can then be saved as an m3u file in your designated Squeezebox Server folder. A quick playlist rescan and you'll find the list available for use. davep -- davep ------------------------------------------------------------------------ davep's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71904 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
