Yes, I've been looking at fixing that. Can you not click skip in the gui to have it advance to the next track? That works for me on windows, but I don't run SS as a service. indifference_engine;502677 Wrote: > 2) I've tried experimenting with the -e switch and SBS seems to > recognise the correct player type but I get a message in SqueezeBox > Server saying the firmware needs to be updated. The new display feature is optional and is only started if you supply -D on the command line, otherwise it operates the same as all version before displaying nothing. The -e option will most likely be removed in the next release as it was really only intended for testing. Using it only changes the player identifier reported to SBS when SS connects. It does not change how SS operates internally in any way. The firmware version is hard coded and there have only every been two versions; 0 and 1. I used v1 to determine if squeezeslave supports replay gain or not from the player settings. -- ralphy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63966 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
