I've not heard the new Naim DAC, but given that Naim deliberately engineer all their kit to the "house sound", it seems extremely likely that it will sound distinctly different to a TP. Not better or worse - different. Which one you like best will depend on your personal preferences.

Whatever it is that > Naim kit has (or had, possibly) it passes the foot-tap test. Naim are full of it sometimes. I used to run a pair of 135 monoblocks and for sure they sounded great, but Naim do not have a monopoly on boogie factor. I'm sitting here listening to a TP in a system with a Naim component count of zero. And yet, my foot is tapping. -- cliveb Transporter -> ATC SCM100A ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cliveb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74249 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
