I think the only truth I trust are some indications, for example what Christopher mentioned here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71241 He clearly doesn't mention any exact numbers, just that the team is a bit smaller. He also mentions a reorganization which might result in a smaller team but it might also just be that they have divided/organized the work differently. For example by letting another business unit taking care of the hardware part. Let's just face it, we have no idea what Logitech plans, they might just want the new organization to settle before they increase the team again. Ben recently posted that they have changed the licensing of the player software and plan to strengthen the collaboration with third party community. It does feel a bit strange to do this in case they plan to replace the platform with something totally different: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74049 Still, as I posted earlier in this thread, an Android platform would be pretty cool from a third party developer point of view. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73578 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
