My thoughts about cost/capability ratio to the side, I think this is a great device simply because it may drive acceptance of tablets. Personally, I'd be more interested in a netbook-priced 6" tablet running Android - but the simple presence of the iPad makes this all the more likely. And for the apple-only folks, presence of cheaper tablets will probably drive the price for this one downwards at least somewhat (and maybe push Apple to do things like add multitasking).
