Sure. I have speakers upstairs, deck, bathroom, basement, office,... and at times different music is playing in different areas. My previous setup (J. Rivers Media Center) allowed me to use the independent outputs of my sound card to create 4 zones of audio. I want to see if the squeezecenter stuff can do that before I buy a controller and/or receiver. Seems odd to me to put 4 squeezebox receivers in my equipment room stacked on top of each other connected to the amps. I'm beginning to think that what I want isn't going to work out well. Alternatives?
