cliveb, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. That is exactly what I needed. I agree with you on Cerwin Vega's reputation but as I have always leaned more toward loud music with heavy bass, it seems to be a logical choice for me. I may even get some of their speakers down the road which would make a good match.
On a side note, I was reading about the PS Audio Trio C-100 integrated amp today and it seems promising as well. Not quite as much power as I would like but I guess it depends on what speakers I ultimately decide on.
