I may have found a tiny glitch, though I am not sure. I recently added a Transporter to my family of Squeezeboxes, replacing a Classic I had in the living room.
Since I had my Harmony (One) programmed already I never changed anything, but after a while I noticed something annoying. I have the Transporter set to "Pause at power off / Resume at power on" in the SqueezeboxServer Audio settings. I noticed that when I used the Harmony to power on the Transporter, it indeed resumed to play the song, but after 2 or 3 seconds, it stopped and restarted the song playing at that moment. I also noticed that this did NOT happen when I used the original remote of the Transporter, so I suspect it has something to do with the "Power On" and "Power Off" commands in the database. Just to stretch: I am not 100% sure if this is a bug, but maybe someone with a similar setup can confirm this issue. Nor am I sure if this is really a Harmony issue, or something that was introduced in the latest version of SqueezeboxServer (Version: 7.4.2 - r30215 @ Fri Feb 19 15:21:27 PST 2010 - Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 - Perl Version: 5.10.0 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi). As a fix, I re-educated the Harmony the remotes power button command for "Power Toggle", "Power On" and "Power Off", overriding the commands found in the database. This seems to have solved the issue. -- furonfour 'Last.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/wostu) - Chaos is the mother of all creation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ furonfour's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17114 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67769 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
