My neighbor has a Linksys WMB54G Wireless-G Music Bridge. It appears to be discontinued by Linksys, but you can find it on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-Cisco-WMB54G-Wireless-G-Bridge/dp/B000E5E6KG). It appears to use wifi (TCP/IP). It looks like a bit of a kludge to me, and he is only semi-happy with it.
There's also Logitech's "Wireless DJ" system, which they had before acquiring SlimDevices and the SB line. I think that is also discontinued, but may still be available on Amazon. It uses 2.4GHz, but I suspect it's cordless phone/baby monitor technology, not wifi. And then there's Apple's Airport Express -- does that require iTunes? In your original post you said sound quality is your highest priority. None of these have sound quality as good as an SB, nor are they nearly as flexible. But if using Albumplayer is really your highest priority, one of these may be the way for you to go. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76038 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
