Let's put it this way - the zeroes and ones are supposed to be the easy bit - it's everything else that is hard... (and it's got nothing to do with wirelessly or not). Getting Windows to produce bit-perfect streams is an art in itself. I don't understand - if you care about sound quality, just get a Squeezebox and run Squeezebox server on your laptop(s). Don't futz around with Windows audio at all. If you want a GUI that looks like AlbumPlayer, use Moose.
