Yes, you can do what you want very simply. Put the SB Classic by the nightstand. On your computer, install "SqueezePlay" (essentially a software version of the player). You can feed them both by connecting to either "mysqueezebox.com" (if you don't care about playing any of your own music files) or "squeezeboxserver" if you want to play your own files as well. Either approach will give you access to 100,000+ internet radio feeds, plus pandora, etc. Find the SQUEEZEPLAY version you need here toward the bottom of the page (either windows, Mac, or Linux). http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.5 There are other software players as well, but this one works well for me. (note you can't sync the classic and squeezeplay to play at the same time an identical stream. But both can independently play whatever you want. You can download SqueezeboxServer here (for windows, current version would be 7.4.2: http://www.mysqueezebox.com/download You'll also need to sign up for a free account at mysqueezebox.com -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76423 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
