Ralphy: I did the following: 1. Download your squeezeslave version 2. Copied it to the VM /usr/bin 3. Installed the following packets: - apt-get install alsa - apt-get install subversion - apt-get install libasound2-dev - apt-get install libncurses5-dev - apt-get install liblircclient-dev 4. changed squeezeslave-alsa to squeezeslave cd /usr/bin/ mv squeezeslave-alsa squeezeslave 5. made it executable: chmod 777 squeezeslave 6. Start SqueezeSlave squeezeslave -r15 & 7. Test some things: r...@squeezeplug:~# squeezeslave -V squeezeslave 0.9-133 compile flags: linux portaudio:1420 debug signals interactive daemon r...@squeezeplug:~# squeezeslave -L Output devices: 0: Intel 82801AA-ICH: Intel 82801AA-ICH (hw:0,0) 2: front * 3: default 8. configured alsamixer => All switches on maximum 9. tried: squeezeslave -r15 o0 squeezeslave -r15 o2 squeezeslave -r15 o3 Result: no sound at all Whats now?
