In fact, no, there's no SlimServer service installed at all.  I did
check the "start Slimserver when system starts" checkbox, but it's just
not there.  Perhaps something about installing it on d: ?

In any event, is there a way to register it as a service manually?  I
googled it but didn't find any quick instructions.
