Can you transfer the music to your server in another way, for instance on your network? That's the way I work. My ubuntu-pc with the music is ethernet wired to the router, while I rip new CDs on a windows lap-top. Afterwards I tag the new music, add cover, and transfer the new cd-rip (contained in a folder) via the WLAN to the collection on the server. To be able to do so, I've installed and used the SAMBA sharing program on the Ubuntu-PC. Squeezeboxserver can read those files. -- united59 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ united59's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37126 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75662 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
