I have four booms and a duet (receiver/controller)... When I first started using my set up, I controlled my Squeezeboxes with my SBC... I found navigating through 10s of thousands of tracks using the IR remote on the boom to be very cumbersome... But honestly...even the SBC is quite cumbersome with such a large library... Now that I have been using my SBs for a while now, I have pretty much settled into a habit of using the web interface on a PC to control all of my music on my squeezeboxes... This is made even simpler and convenient since I got a netbook...
