> Windows sure is weird sometimes. For what it's worth, I've noticed this about the SlimServer Windows installer... during the first SlimServer setup, the service installs fine. Any subsequent setups (i.e. upgrade), the service is deleted and the replacement service entry fails to install properly. I always have to run setup twice during an upgrade to get the service to install properly. Of course, once it does the replacement service's logon credentials are reset to "Local System" and you must edit if you were previously using other credentials.
In my experience, this has been the only installer that does this so I'm not sure blame should be placed with Windows. In any case, I've managed to work around the problem but double installing every upgrade. -- bishopdonmiguel _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
