It's animated and updated by the Squeezebox Server. IIRC, each full screen of both displays are sent from the server to the Transporter. I run several Squeezeboxes, often synchronized, including a Transporter. All of them are connected wirelessly and all of them have the scrolling rates set very high. The Transporter's settings are:
Scroll Rate 0.015 Scroll Pause: 1.25 Scroll Pixels: 1 I only occasionally see a little stuttering in the display scrolling and never have audio dropouts. A lot of the added functionality is implemented through server plugins that can be disabled. Many plugins are 'active' by default, but I disable any plugins that I don't use. This will help with the memory footprint of the server and it may also help a little with performance. See Settings > Plugins > Active Plugins Restart the server after you've deactivated the plugins that you don't need. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77413 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
