Well, I've not uploaded a complete image, because it takes way longer to download/put it on the USB key, because large parts of the image will be "empty".
I think the easiest way is to download an Ubuntu CD, boot your PC from this CD in a Live-Ubuntu (that does not change anything on your harddisk). http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download After booting do this: * Insert the USB key (* One or more windows will pop up (the current USB key contents)) * Open System / Admin / Partition Editor * Select your USB key (/dev/sdX) in the upper-right corner WARNING: BE CAREFUL TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT DEVICE!
