Yes, all other Linux versions use an X server and there is a closed source driver with 3D acceleration. The Intel PSB drivers from the Gentoo repo offer framebuffer support and may be worth a try, but I was not able to use them yet: http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/x11-drivers/psb-kmod/psb-kmod-4.41.1_p10-r1.ebuild?view=markup http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/x11-drivers/psb-firmware/psb-firmware-0.30_p3.ebuild?view=markup They compile fine, but seem to crash when trying to "modprobe psb"... :-/ I'll try again as soon as I'm back from my holidays in Italy. :-) > btw, can we try out SqueezeCommander on this build? You cannot buy it because it has no Android Market, but you can contact me and I give you access to the beta versions: :-) android AT flattermann DOT net -- flattermann Christian Home of 'SqueezeCommander' (http://www.squeezecommander.com) - The SqueezeBox Remote Control App for Android ------------------------------------------------------------------------ flattermann's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33169 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64373 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
