Its a physical location issue. The cable line comes into the house in the utility room which is not conducive to setting up a wireless router. This is also where the network distribution cables converge. As a result, I need to take the output from the cable modem in two directions - one goes to my kitchen where the first SB is. The other goes to the wireless router in another room which in turn is connected to my computer and a second SB.
