It's just a bigger Wifi antenna to boost the signal and will work with any B/G device. I use a similar antenna on my car trunk for Wifi (different style, 1 foot rod on a magnet mount). I'd definitely go with a single run 600' foot first before introducing more connections and switches unnecessarily on such a long run.
