Just acquired a Windows 7 32 bit laptop to replace the accident prone Vista machine. I managed to get the DSbridge and lame encoder link to work quite easily on the new laptop, but then. Oh shite everytime the laptop updates the dsbridge ceases to function. The remedy I have found so far is to uninstall Spotify, delete the remaining Dsbridge and Lame enc files in the Spotify program folder, then the folder itself. New install of Spotify etc. A right pain in the arse. I have temporarily disabled automatic updates. I have noticed that there is some sort of user account control which prevents saving downloaded files directly to a program folder. I have created a temporary desktop folder with the Dsbidge and Lame enc files that I know work when I have to reinstall.
