Nope, chances are it is your router's DHCP installation. The router
has a DHCP server which should supply all devices on your network with
a valid IP address whether they are connected using cable or Wi-fi.
Clearly it is doing the former but not the latter. I have this sort of
problem from time to time with my Netgear. Turning the router off then
on again usually sorts it out. You will then have to reboot the
Transporter so that it looks for a new IP address. If that does not
work, make sure that you are running the latest firmware on your
router.

I generally find that UK "domestic" quality routers are pretty flaky in
this respect and need periodic reboots. I have had Belkin, Netgear and
Speedtouch routers over the years and all have exhibited DHCP server
problems of some sort.

I am not sure if there is a way to set a fixed IP address for the
Transporter. Using Net:UDAP I have done this for my two Receivers and
the Controller - which avoids the whole DHCP thing completely. Perhaps
somebody else could advise.

By the way, the majority of Transporter users hang out in the
"Audiophile" forum. Try posting a link to this query there and you may
get more Transporter specific advice.
