My mistake -- there are so many things that you *can* put on the top level menu that I assumed something as commonly used as sync would be one of them, but alas it isn't. If it's any consolation, sync-related plugins such as The Synchronizer can be put on the top-level menu of the Boom, SB2, SB3/Classic, etc. I'm not sure how many button presses that will save you compared to Settings > Synchronize though.
Btw, if you're using an IR remote with alphanumeric keys, you can probably skip the scrolling and get to sync in just 5 button presses. On the SB2 in my kitchen it's: 1) Now Playing (gets me to a known place from anywhere in the menus) 2) left arrow (gets back to top-level menu) 3) 9 (takes me to Settings) 4) right arrow 5) 4 (takes me to Syncrhonize) The number key you use for step #3 will depend on exactly where Settings appears in your top-level menu. Similarly the number key you use for step #5 will depend on how many plugins you have installed that use the Settings menu, etc. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79142 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
