A friend of mine has a HTC Desire and I played with it a bit.
It looked fine, but that was in the evening, without direct sunlight.

I'd prefer a Nexus One though, because I think it will receive the
fastest Android updates.

Unfortunately, I really NEED a new device, because my Hero has some
severe issues with the Touchscreen (the lower part does not work
anymore). I've already spoken to HTC and they told me that I should
send it in for repair but it will take around 2 weeks...

So the idea was to buy a new device and send in the Hero afterwards,
but nobody wants to sell me a Desire/NexusOne for a fair price. :-)

Maybe I should wait for the "new" Desire/NexusOne in a month or two,
when HTC has switched to "Super-LCDs".
