You are probably falling foul of the issue that there are two different podcast playing parts of the Squeezebox UI. One stores the list of podcasts on your SBS (the one called simply called Podcasts in the UI) and the other where the list is stored on mysqueezebox.com (under "My Apps->Podcast Player" in the UI).
