まず、日本でSqueezeBoxを使ってるひとは少ないと思うけど、その少数のユーザーにはおすすめです iPengのiPad版が無いと御嘆きのSqueezeBoxユーザーは、これをどうぞ 一つ前のバージョンから使ってましたが、見た目があまり褒めたもんじゃない状態ながら、使い勝手は悪くなかった。 今回の新バージョンは、基本レイアウトをそのまま維持して、細かい「見てくれ」にこだわって作り込んだのが効を奏したとおもう。 プレーヤーのセレクタ上にSqueezeBoxの機種ごとのイメージが表示される。 これは以前iPengの2つ前のバージョンでもやってたけど、たぶん権利問題かなんかで、いまはもっと模式的なイメージに後退しちゃっている。そのぶん逆に評価が高いが、将来の懸念でもある。 そういう将来の「お楽しみ」も含めて、少し高いフィーを払う価値があると思う。 ただし、あなたがSqueezeBoxのユーザーならば、ね Globalization is a funny thing.
