Ah, you could be right.  I figured they had to be like most other
SqueezePlay settings and kept on the player.  So there's even less
reason why they should not be editable in the web interface.

If there were a web interface for managing player presets one way to
get something very close to the old behavior would be to present a
couple of buttons.  One might say "Set as favorite N" and another "Copy
from favorite N".  Then it would take just a couple minutes to copy
favorites to the preset buttons on every players.  You might also have
a single button in the Favorites editor that says "Copy Favorites to
all player presets" that could do it in a single click.
