OK, I didn't try the windirstat program, it may be unnecessary. When I got home today, I checked the available storage on my NAS. It showed "correct", i.e. the proper amount of space that I would expect.
I had a previous Windows explorer view pulled that showed the amount of space available, it showed I had 325GB free. I hit refresh, and it now shows I have 451GB (correct) free! Over the course of 20 hours, 126GB magically freed up. I ran bliss for a bit again, and happened to be in a folder it was scanning through. I could see a TMP file that was jumping all around in size, from 200KB to 90,000KB. I didn't watch it for long, but if it was adding 90,000KB to each track it re-wrote, I can see how the temp space used up could grow at an extraordinary rate. -- SamS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SamS's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82205 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
