Yes if one other player in that sync group has bitrate limiting enabled. If no player has bitrate limit , then some other limits migth kick in, for example you got an slimp3 or SB1 (they have limited file type support)Or if you are using hirez. In the hirez case If not all players can fo 24/96 you get 24/48 FLac for example.
