I think i've fixed my problem. Started from a factory reset and
followed the setup procedure once more. Now I've looked more carefully
at the fields of the receiver and changed the values I needed. I think
I previously forgot to put the lan-ip-mode to static (0). Now I also
saved the ip parameters. 

I restarted my NAS and now my receiver was immediately visible in the
squeezebox server. Tomorrow morning will be the final test (after a
complete shutdown of the NAS).
