I have the failure to merge various artists error but I can't get my head a round why.
I have been scanning my music fine for several months since purchasing SB touch. All was rosy until I decided to re-organise my file structure. I have a mixture of flac and mp3 and had them all in one directory aka... My Music/Library/Artist/Album/Title.flac or mp3 Each album being exclusively flac or mp3. It was a pain to find the flacs to convert to mp3 if I wanted to put them on my phone so I decided to split them up aka... My Music/Library/Flac/Artist/Album/Title.flac My Music/Library/MP3/Artist/Album/Title.mp3 Since I have done this I get the scan error. I still have the original structure on the same drive on the same computer and if I switch SB Serever back to it it still scans fine. Both scan fine into Winamp btw. Can anyone please tell me why?
