Good evening,
Everybody seems to be very happy with SqueezeCommander so I bought it a
few months ago. The app is very user-friendly and well designed indeed!
However I do have a problem since the first day I used it. Basically I
stopped using it pretty sooon after that, but right now my Squeezebox
Controller won't charge anymore. Seeing all the positive reviews I
presume this is a problem on my side, but I have not found a solution
yet (or any similar reports from other users).
The problem is the speed of browsing through my music. Two symptoms: 1.
the album names do not load immediately ("Bezig met laden...") and 2.
the album covers will load very slowly and are not stored (meaning that
they have to be reloaded each time I start browsing and even when
browsing back to where I came from in the same browsing session).
For me, this is not a workable situation. In contrast, the Squeezebox
Controller will show the album names immediately and will load the
covers pretty fast ans will "remember" them (showing them instantly)
until the controller is restarted (which was seldom necessary.
My Hardware:
Server: Netgear Readynas Duo (with SqueezeboxServer "sparc-readynas"
(Also tested on Windows 7 with SqueezeboxServer for Windows with
probably even slower results)
Players: a Receiver and a Boom
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S
Anyone a suggestion as to what's going on here?
