When I play my music, I like having all my players in the various rooms turned on. So as I'm cooking, cleaning, wandering through the house I can hear my music wherever I go. Since I've recently increased the number of players, when a large FLAC file tries to play the network is just not able to handle it and the players will start to stutter and get out of sync.
I started looking at the various advanced settings and found "Synchronized players startup delay ms" and thought that increasing this value would give each player additional time to buffer more of the song and solve my problem, but it doesn't look like it works like that. I took the Touch off the wireless and ran a cable but that didn't help much. I'm running SBS 7.5.3 r31972 on a HP MediaSmart 485EX with a beefed up system drive. There are 8 wireless players and one player on ethernet. Are there any tips or tricks to solve this problem? -- realcodeguy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ realcodeguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41870 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86757 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
