You've got me thinking now. I'd never thought of Random Mix being used
as a jukebox i.e. you add songs and it plays them but, if it runs out
of songs, it chooses songs at random. It doesn't work this way at
present as there is always at least one random item at the end of the
playlist. Unless you only ever wanted to choose one song at a a time,
you couldn't add your new songs in before the random item and still
keep the order in which you added them. Random Mix currently checks to
see if it should add new items at the start of each track. In order to
work like a jukebox it would have to do this at the end of a track.
However, if you just want to listen to a random mix you wouldn't want
this as it would mean you got pauses in the playlist while new tracks
are added.

Would anyone be interested in this jukebox functionality? I'd consider
adding it as an option (post 6.2!), although it could turn out to need a
surprising lot of work.

PS RandomPlay and Random Mix are the same thing, in case I've confused
anyone.

The wild things roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible
teeth
and rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws
but Max stepped into his private boat and waved good-bye
