You read/heard that differently than I did. That wasn't my
understanding of how this would work in practice.  What I understood is
that this is an algorithm that can take ANY and all recorded "2D"
material and that material, when run through the algorithm, will come
out---either as broadcast, or on a CD, movie track, etc.----as 3D sound
out of a 2 speaker setup. 

My assumption was---and perhaps naively due to my limited technical
knowledge---was that the algorithm, like those used for DAC filters,
etc...could, if that assumption was correct, then be incorporated into
the SBS software.
