I know that I can connect and listen to SiriusXM at work through their
website and web page, and I can also listen to my home server with
Winamp through port 8000 on a computer at work, so nothing is blocking
these on the network. When I try to listen with my Squeezebox, it
aquires an ethernet connection, but that's as far as it gets. No
stations connect. Are there things at the Squeezebox website it's
checking for such as a check for the latest firmware or something else
that is stopping it from establishing a connection because of the ports
it's trying to use? The network where I work does not require a login
for an ethernet connection. I'm really disappointed that I haven't been
able to use this radio when I checked first to make sure the things I
wanted to listen to weren't being blocked.
