In the past I've noticed occasional omissions of CD artwork in the web interface which was easily corrected by simply enacting a minor change in the file tags so that when rescanned, the album is flagged as "new or changed".
However, with my last series of scans of newly ripped albums, certain albums, usually in a series of 5 or 6, would come up without album art in the web interface. Some could be corrected using the technique above, but some would stubbornly refuse to show the CD cover after multiple file tag changes and rescans. Today, I did a complete database clear and rescan, and all of the "resistant" CD art displays perfectly fine. If the clear and rescan didn't take a couple of hours, I'd be fine with this solution on a regular basis.
