I was just about to report a further problem, almost certainly related... I stopped SqueezePlayer. I then restarted it, and it starting playing the track on the playlist. I then used SqueezeCommander to change to a different track. And it did. Unfortunately, it ALSO continued playing the old one...!!!
I'll see how the new version behaves.
