Not sure if you have access to an itouch, ipad, or iphone but if you do for less than 10 bucks you can get an app, ipeng or squeezepad (ipad only), which work extremely well. Logitech even has a free app which is very basic but gets the job done better than the old remote that comes with the classic in my opinion. Squeezepad is on sale this week for 5 bucks for the ipad which makes it a pretty awesome deal.
