I've also used Spotify and prefer MOG for the following reasons:

- In MOG, you can organize your library by artist, album, or playlist.
With Spotify, you can only organize by playlist, so the Squeezebox apps
(both Logitech's and Triode's) can only be sorted using playlists. This
is not the way I listen to music most of the time. The only way to sort
by artist is to create playlists for each individual artist/album and
manually alphabetize them, which is both inconvenient and time
consuming.

- iPhone app is far superior, again primarily because you can organize
by album/artist, as well as by playlist.

- You can search for playlists by keyword within the MOG application.
With Spotify, you need to search through various 3rd party playlist
sites.

- Major gaps in US catalog, although this seems to be improving
gradually.

- And most importantly, sound quality - according to some blogs, less
than half of Spotify tracks are actually encoded at 320 kbps, even for
premium accounts. There have been few such SQ complaints with MOG
(although they have noted in one support forum that one of the major
labels only allows 256 kbps), and they seem to take their claims of 320
kbps encoding far more seriously than Spotify.
