That makes sense, now that I understand the design decisions. SqueezeCommander is quite nice, I use it to control the other players in my home already. Along another route, the new SqueezeCenter/SqueezeboxServer/Logitech Media Server 7.7 (or whatever this year's name is), speaks DLNA, both as a music server and as a proxy to allow squeezeboxes to be used as DLNA players.
