Just installed the SqueezePlayer on my HTC Sensation and tested with Wifi and local Squeezeboxserver. First impressions:
- when I chose the SqueezePlayer as my player in the SqueezeboxServer window, the tracks chosen for playback (from the left pane) did not show up in the playlist display of the player (right pane where the player's current song and playlist are supposed to appear). - on the phone, I opened SqueezeController and it let me view the current song, change volume, etc. It's a bit awkward to have to use two apps. Something like softsqueeze with a display and limited browsing capability would be nice, or an applet: It could display song info (and cover image) just like the display of a 'normal' player (boom, transporter). All in all, works well (not tried it away from home yet).
