Well, my old SB3 gave up the ghost. First I dropped it and blew the display, but because I run it wired to cut down on interference, I still could run it with my android tablet and Squeezecommander. Last week it wouldn't connect (couldn't find it). I tried rebooting everything and unplugging and replugging the SB3 but nothing works. Given the blown display, it's time for another. I can't decide between another SB3 or a Duet receiver. I like having the unit hod...without the blue light and I also like doing the controlling on the tablet or my laptop.
However, sound quality and build quality are a must. I ran the SB3 through a Beresford TC-7520 DAC and loved it and will probably use the same type of set up. Any suggestions?
