I tried syncing with my Xoom and my son's Boom (gee, this stuff makes it's own poetry ;-). The results were not so good.
First I started playing the Boom, and as it was playing I sync'ed my Xoom to it. The sync wasn't perfect, but it was close. In an attempt to force it to resync, I skipped to the next track. At this point the sync was unacceptable and was probably a good .25 seconds out. Changing tracks did not improve it at all. At this point I gave up. My music is encoded in FLAC. I do not have transcoding configured for the Xoom (i.e. it is coming as FLAC to the Xoom). My server version can be found in my sig. I don't really care since I won't use this functionality and really wouldn't expect it to work.
