Thanks for the reply. I knew that the android squeeze player was a
playback client, but I wondered if, like bubblesoft upnp it could also
act as a server/redirect to a different renderer. 

Not sure how the new server software can help though?  Unless the
blu-ray has a squeeze player client in it, and I'm pretty convinced it
hasn't!

I was wondering if there's a generic app that puts the entire tablet
into dlna server mode or can redirect audio and/or video to a remote
renderer.  Probably not.

So when I want to play music to the blu-ray/amp I can do so from the
tablet but only if I use a dlna-enabled player and not squeeze player
then?
