I too am being continually pestered by the "update available message"

The reason I don't want to upgrade is that my experience of "upgrading
to 7.6.0 was a total disaster. Hours spent getting anything like a
reasonably working system. Eventually went back to 7.5.5

Later I re-installed XP on my server PC, so decided to give 7.7.0 a go.
I got a message saying "There is a software conflict". How useful is
that message?!

Again, went back to 7.5.5

Now, I have a system that plays my music, shows me album art, plays
Spotify, internet radio, and even works with the Android app on my
phone.

I'm a reasonably happy bunny.

What is close to driving me to Sonos is:

I have attempted to disabled the update in the
Settings/Advanced/Software Updates. It doesn't work.

Me and all the other users in my family are plagued by the pop-up.
Fortunately none of us runs as an administrator, so hopefully the
upgrade would not be installed even if someone clicked on it.

However, I get the occasional message on the player itself, asking me
to upgrade. I know how to get rid of it, but I have had my wife call me
at work asking what to do when she wants to listen to the radio. For
software to do this when it has been set not to is (to me) totally
unacceptable.

Sort these issues out Logitech please!

1. If you are going to let an upgrade out into the wild, test it
properly first.
2. If, for very good reasons, users don't want to accept an upgrade,
don't keep forcing it down our throats.

End of rant!
